JAMMU, Oct 6: A national level painters’ camp organized by J&K Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) here from October 3 to 5 at JKTDC Tourist Complex, Mansar has culminated.
Nine well known and senior artists from different parts of the country participated in the camp which was inaugurated on October 3 by eminent Artist Kulwant Singh Gill from Amritsar. The camp has been curated by O.P Sharma, Director, JKCCA, Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, O.P Sharma said the camp proved to be a platform to the artists from different places to interact with their counterparts from other corners of the country.
He thanked the artists for participating in the camp.
The artists who participated in the camp were Yashwant Patel from Valabh Vidyanagar; Riddhi Kirti Kumar Parmar, from Jamnagar, Gujrat; Kulwant Singh Gill and Dharminder Sharma, Amritsar; Jang S. Verman, Mehak Sharma, Binu Verma, Surbhi Mahajan and O.P Sharma from Jammu.
Each artist created a painting each on their own subject, their individual technique and style.
