Grand Shobha Yatra taken out

JAMMU, Oct 5: A grand Shobha Yatra dedicated to Bhagwan Valmiki Ji was today flagged off by Sat Sharma (CA), president, J&K BJP, and Yudhvir Sethi, MLA Jammu East, from Dogra Hall, Jammu.
The colourful procession, organized by All J&K Valmiki Sabha Jammu, passed through various markets of the city amid religious fervour, devotional songs, and chants of “Jai Valmiki Ji Ki.”
J&K BJP general secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul, secretary, Arun Sharma, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, media secretary, Dharminder Kumar, SC Morcha, president, district president, Rajesh Gupta, Mandal president, Adarsh Jathiar, Suneet Raina, Ravikant, Dr. Akshay Sharma, Seema, Rajkumar, Raman Sharma, Ashok Gandhi, and others participated in the Yatra.
All J&K Valmiki Sabha president, Vijay Anand Gill, Sabha office bearers including Jang Bahadur, Ajit Gill, Bhagat Ram, Suresh Kumar, Mehru Raav, and hundreds of devotees participated in the Shobha Yatra.
Addressing the gathering before the flag-off, Sat Sharma lauded the teachings of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji as a guiding light for humanity. He said, “Bhagwan Valmiki Ji showed the path of truth and righteousness to the entire world, proving that faith and self-realization can transform life from darkness to divinity.”
He added that Bhagwan Valmiki Ji’s life teaches the values of transformation, truth, and righteousness. “He wrote the Ramayana, which continues to inspire generations with the message of Dharma, embedded with the spirit of truth, justice, devotion, and social harmony. The BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is committed to upholding these eternal values by working for an inclusive and equitable society,” Sat Sharma said.
Ashok Koul praised the enthusiasm of the devotees and said that the message of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji transcends caste and community. He said that the philosophy propagated by Bhagwan Valmiki Ji promotes equality and upliftment of all sections of society.
Yudhvir Sethi, while congratulating the organizers, said that such religious events preserve the moral fabric of society. He said that the life of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji is an example of how faith and wisdom can lead to ultimate transformation. We must emulate his teachings in our lives, he added.
Expressing gratitude, Vijay Anand Gill, President of All J&K Valmiki Sabha, thanked the BJP leadership and the administration for their cooperation. The celebration of his Jayanti through such yatras strengthens the bond of unity and spirituality among people,” he said.
