UDHAMPUR, Oct 2: In a tragic incident, a minor boy drowned while taking bath in Birma Nullah at Sui Chakar , here last evening.
Identity of the drowned minor was established as Ayushman (10), son of Vijay Vishwakarma, resident of Chhattisgarh, presenting putting up at Sui Chakar, Udhampur.
The boy was taking bath in the Nullah along with another friend when he suddenly slipped into deep water and drowned. Even as Udhampur police and locals immediately launched a search operation, body of the deceased could be fished out this morning.
