JAMMU, Aug 7: The Government today ordered promotion of five Inspectors including four from the Telecom wing as Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs).
The Inspectors promoted as DySPs included Arun Jamwal, who has served as SHO of several police stations.
Four other SHOs promoted as DySPs belonged to Telecom wing of police. They included Tasaduq Hussain, Bashir Ahmad, Ali Mohammad and Rashpal Kumar.
The promotion orders were issued today by Suresh Kumar, Principal Secretary, Home Department.
