Writing Emotions
Emotions are the most delicate to handle
In this rapidly changing world.
The journey of life grows hectic as we move forward,
Proving ourselves from birth till death—
Fitting into the rat race of survival.
But have we ever paused to ask:
What, and to whom, are we proving?
Are we merely protecting one emotion with another—
Replacing sadness with forced happiness,
Feeding the ego while losing our real self,
Chasing money and fame in society’s eyes?
This endless race never truly ends.
Yet emotions, fragile as they are,
Remind us of what it means to be human.
They reveal that sometimes,
The world feels miles apart from our hearts.
If sharing is caring, then whom should we share with?
When judgment of emotions comes so naturally to others,
How do we untangle the knot of feelings to find peace?
Perhaps the answer is simple:
Sit and write it all on paper—
Without worrying how others will take it.
Writing heals, uplifts, and inspires.
So follow your passion,
And in your words,
You will find a lifelong friend.
