Jagti township inmates for intensification of work on bore wells

JAMMU, Sept 26: The Jagti township inmates while expressing the hope that with the sanction of four bore wells in the township the water scarcity problem will be overcome have demanded that the work on their construction be intensified.
Addressing the meeting Vinod Pandita, Sanjay Dhar and Sunil Pandita the social activists the foundation of the bore wells was laid by Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Dr Arvind Karwani and it is hoped that the construction work will be given a pace.
They expressed their gratitude to Lt. Governor, Chief Secretary, Relief Commissioner and Jal Shakti authorities for sanctioning four dug wells in the Township in order mitigate the scarcity of pure drinking water to some extent.
They also appealed for addressing other genuine problems like enhancement of monthly case assistance, framing of return and rehabilitation policy for migrants, creation of ten thousand posts for migrants educated unemployed youth to tackle the unemployment which is on rise.
