KATRA, Sept 26: The School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), organized an interactive session with Prof K S Chandrasekar, Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu, as the distinguished resource person.
In his address, Prof Chandrasekar highlighted the importance of adaptability, agility, and analytical thinking for future readiness. He encouraged students to enhance listening skills, strengthen communication, and complement their MBA curriculum with MOOCs to remain updated. He also shared examples of successful Indian and global leaders and entrepreneurs, suggested insightful books, and conducted interactive activities to help students discover their personality traits and leadership styles.
The program began with a warm welcome address by Prof Ashutosh Vashishtha, Dean, Faculty of Management. The session saw enthusiastic participation from MBA and DYD students of SMVDU.
Following the program, Prof Pragati Kumar, Vice Chancellor, SMVDU and Prof K S Chandrasekar, interacted with the faculty members of School of Business.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Prof Jyoti Sharma. The session was successfully coordinated by Dr Rashi Taggar.
