This has reference to the news item ’40 illegal nursing home, clinical labs operating in Rajouri, Poonch DE Aug 5.
The existence of illegal nursing homes or labs in any part of the State is a great threat to mankind. The Government should wake up from its slumber by closing all these money minting shops. In the name of providing ‘best health care’ these shops may prove quite dangerous to patients.
Since the people do not see whether these clinics have been granted licences or not the Government must inform the public about the existence of these illegal homes through print and electronic media. Otherwise people would keep on visiting them in the belief of getting quality medicare.
Besides, the Government must ensure that the Government run health centres are fully equipped with latest infrastructure, and have adequate staff so that people do not visit private health clinics.
