UDHAMPUR, Sept 24: A PDD daily wager was electrocuted while working on main power supply line at village Dhar Gaddiyan in Udhampur, here today.
Police identified as the deceased as Yog Raj (44), son of Krishan Singh, resident of Dhar Gaddiyan, who was a temporary employee (daily wager) of Power Development Department (PDD).
While fixing some fault on electric pole in native village, he received severe electric shock and died on the spot.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter and registered a case in this connection.
