Two day event ‘Maa Sukrala Sanskriti Mohotsav 2025’ concludes

JAMMU, Sept 23: The two day event ‘Maa Sukrala Sanskriti Mohotsav 2025’ organised by Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in Billawar concluded today.
J&K School Education Department, Shri Mata Sukrala Devi Ji Shrine Board and others coordinated in organising the event.
Satish Kumar Sharma, MLA Billawar was chief guest on this occasion while Pandit Ram Parshad Shastri, Head Pujari, Sukrala Devi; Jagdish Chander, Headmaster, Government High School, Sukrala Devi; Vijay Sharma, president, Ram Leela Natak Club; Surinder Kumar, principal Government Hr Sec School Billawar; Lokesh Sumbria, Mandal Pardhan BJP Billawar and Anil Kumar, Tehsildar Machhedi were guests of honour.
The artists presented light classical dance Om Sankalpamastu.
Vinay Khosla, ADC Billawar presided over the function.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the event dedicated to the Goddess Sukrala Devi.
Earlier the welcome address was delivered by V.K Magotra, BLSKS MD.
Dr. M.L Dogra highlighted the history of Sukrala Mata temple and said that it was constructed by Madho Singh with entire building material carried from Chamba on foot by the prince and his family.
