JAMMU, Sept 21: Dr Satwant Singh Rissam, a media & communication professional and an author from Jammu, participated in the 4th International Sikh Research Summit 2025, organized by the Guru Nanak Institute of Global Studies, Canada.
The summit, themed “Honouring the Past & Empowering the Future,” was dedicated to encouraging multidisciplinary dialogue, learning, and exchange among scholars, researchers, and community leaders worldwide.
This year’s event witnessed an impressive gathering of delegates who explored the significant global contributions of Sikhs across various fields. The keynote address was delivered by Dr Muninder Kaur Ahluwalia, Professor and Chair of the Department of Counseling at Montclair State University.
The summit featured presentations from 23 distinguished research scholars representing diverse backgrounds and disciplines. These presentations, along with interactive panel discussions, provided a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and collaborative networking.
Reflecting on the experience, Dr Rissam commented: “It was a stimulating platform for fostering collaborative research, interdisciplinary discussions, and the exchange of innovative ideas with world-class researchers, scholars, authors, professionals, and educators.”
