JAMMU, Sept 20: All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) in its Core Group meeting at New Delhi today reiterated to strengthen the organisation and enhance the outreach to the Kashmiri Pandit community across the country and globally.
The meeting was chaired by AIKS president, Ravinder Pandita in which Rajinder Premi and Ajay Pandita were appointed as vice presidents of the organisation in view of their decades long services and commitment to the cause of displaced Pandit community.
A handout issued by AIKS said that their appointment reflects AIKS vision of strengthening its leadership base with experienced voices that embody dedication, inclusivity and foresight.
The meeting said that AIKS is wedded to its community outreach programmes, strengthen advocacy for the rights and rehabilitation of the community, foster greater participation of younger generation and reinforce its role as a unifying, representative and future oriented body.
Addressing the meeting, AIKS president, Ravinder Pandita emphasised that institutional growth requires collective wisdom and diversified participation. He said the inclusion of two new vice presidents will make an important milestone in consolidating the organisational structure and channelling renewed passion into community welfare initiatives.
