Man wanted in ATM fraud case held

JAMMU, Sept 17: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Pacca Danga area today claimed they have arrested one individual wanted in an ATM fraud case and recovered from his possession the money he had fraudulently withdrawn from the account of another person.
Rajat Singh of Gadigarh, Jammu, was wanted for his involvement in case FIR number 105/2025 under section 318(2) of the BNS, a police official said.
He said the accused had fraudulently exchanged the ATM card of a victim and carried out unauthorised withdrawals.
Acting promptly on the complaint, a team from Pacca Danga Police Station conducted thorough investigation and arrested the accused, besides recovering from his possession the money he had withdrawn unauthorizedly, he said.
Pertinently, the operation was headed by SHO Police Station Pacca Danga, Inspector Rakesh Maini, under the supervision of SDPO City North and SP City North, Jammu.
