SRINAGAR, Sept 12: J&K Bank today organized Login Day events across several districts of Jammu and Kashmir under the Government’s Mission Yuva program, handing over 300 sanction letters to young entrepreneurs.
A statement said that the events were held in Srinagar, Udhampur, Anantnag, Pulwama, Budgam, Jammu, and Baramulla, drawing wide participation from the aspiring youth.
In Srinagar, General Manager Syed Rais Maqbool chaired the function, where 46 sanction letters were handed over.
He said the Bank takes pride in supporting young entrepreneurs with timely financial assistance and guidance to help build sustainable ventures.
In Udhampur, General Manager Anand Pal Singh presided over the program in the presence of district officials, where 35 sanction letters were distributed.
Pal said empowering youth with resources and support is central to the Bank’s mission.
In Anantnag, General Manager Rajesh Gupta distributed 31 sanction letters and encouraged beneficiaries to act as job creators.
ADDC Anantnag S S Bali underlined the Government’s vision of creating over five lakh jobs in the next few years through Mission Yuva.
In Pulwama, 50 sanction letters were distributed under the chairmanship of General Manager Shabir Ahmad, who said the Bank is committed to providing equal opportunities to youth across all regions.
In Budgam, General Manager Tariq Ali handed over 26 sanction letters, noting that the overwhelming response reflects the importance of accessible financial services.
In Jammu, General Manager Rakesh Magotra presided over the event where Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Minhas distributed the first set of sanction letters.
A total of 60 beneficiaries received financial sanction letters during the program.
In Baramulla, General Manager Nishikant Sharma led the proceedings where 52 sanction letters were distributed.
He said the Bank remains a trusted partner for the youth in their entrepreneurial journey.
Interactive sessions held during the events saw beneficiaries expressing gratitude for the Bank’s smooth application process and support in preparing project reports.
The participants also appreciated the timely sanctioning of loans, which reinforced their confidence in pursuing entrepreneurship.
