UDHAMPUR, Sept 8: Drug and Food Control Organisation, in coordination with District Police Udhampur, today sealed M-Medical Hall at Chak Rakwalan for failing to maintain proper records and keeping drugs without valid prescriptions as mandated by law.
During the inspection, the team recovered and seized 15 strips of Pregabalin capsules found in the possession of the proprietor namely Munabar-Ul-Zaman of Bakhal Hartaryan, Tehsil & District Udhampur without any corresponding sales/purchase records or valid medical prescriptions.
The authorities have issued a stern warning to all medical establishments to strictly adhere to the regulations concerning the sale of controlled drugs otherwise strict legal action will be taken against those found violating these norms.
