JAMMU, Sept 8: JKTDC retired employees today staged a protest demonstration and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
The protesters were demanding clearance of their retirement dues which were pending for the last 3-6 years.
Abdul Manan, one of the protesters said that he retired from the post of Manager from JKTDC some six years back but till now his dues were not cleared by the JKTDC.
He also said that some employees retired even much before and they too were also awaiting the clearance of their dues.
Another protester informed that dues of their colleagues from Kashmir were cleared but only they are selectively ignored.
“This is injustice which we will never tolerate,” he maintained.
One more protester said that all this is injustice with Jammu region.
The protesters urged the LG and CM of J&K to probe the matter and act against the guilty.
