Sri Hari Prabhu Sanstha holds 21st AGM

JAMMU, Sept 7: Sri Hari Prabhu Sanstha held its 21st Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) here today.
Suresh Kumar Gupta, Principal Conservator of Forests was the chief guest on this occasion while Rajesh Gupta, Chief Engineer PWD (R&B) and Dr. Vikas Gupta, Director Tourism were guests of honour and Dr. S.K Gupta, renowned Neurologist and K.B Mohtra were special guests.
The programme started with lightening of ceremonial lamp.
S.C Gupta, Sanstha president delivered welcome address and gave details of activities carried out by the Sanstha during the year 2024-25.
He said that 2000 cataract surgeries, financial assistance to 450 poor/orphan girls for their marriage and skill training was provided together with placement of 150 educated unemployed youths under skill development programme of a Government scheme.
Treasurer Subash Gupta presented details of income and expenditure during the year 2024-25.
A handout stated that financial help of Rs. 50000 was given to 5 widows/poor and needy persons who were given Rs. 10000 each by Harinder Gupta, Trustee of Partiush Memorial Charitable Foundation Jammu.
The Sanstha also gave mementoes to felicitate Rajat Gupta, Gold Medalist in Physics, Shubam Gupta, JKAS, CA Sashiv Gupta, CA Saniya Gupta, Dr. Satvir Gupta, Dr. Abhasha Parotra, Arun Basotra, Skate Boarder, Dr. Danish Malguria and Akhilesh Malguria.
The chief guest lauded the efforts of the Sanstha for poverty alleviation and for the welfare of destitute, widows, orphans and poor students.
Chairman Harinder Gupta and I.D Soni also spoke on the occasion.
The cultural programme was performed by the team led by Dr. B.B Sharma, president Rahtriay Bhasha Samiti and K.L Gupta.
Kuldeep Gupta, general secretary conducted proceedings of the AGM.
Anil Sharma, senior vice president presented vote of thanks.
