MSJK protests against PHE, PDD

JAMMU, Sept 3: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against the PHE and PDD Departments.
The protest was led by MSJK president, Sunil Dimple and the protesters raised slogans against the authorities for acute sacristy of drinking water in Jammu city.
Addressing the protesters Dimple claimed that the flood victims have not received any financial help from the Government.
He also said that there is critical shortage of drinking water in Jammu city and the power supply has also been badly hit.
“People have no water to drink, wash clothes-utensils and to cook food,” the MSJK leader maintained adding that the Government should do something so that the public should get proper water supply.
He further said that PHE Department collects hefty tariff but has proved defunct as no tanker is available for supplying drinking water.
“No water has been supplied to the areas like Pakka Talab, Sarwal, New Plot, Janipur, Rorian Di Chapri, Prem Nagar, Jawahar Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Subash Nagar, Rehari, Talab Tilo and Bakshi Nagar Mohallas,” he maintained.
Dimple also said that all the J&K MLAs and MPs should donate their salaries to the funds meant for flood hit people.
Sunita Sharma, Baby Devi, Swarna Devi, Rekha Kumari, Balwant Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Tarsem Lal, Bramu, Rajinder Kumar and many others were also present in the protest.
