JAMMU, Sept 3: ABVP has urged the authorities to postpone the JKPSC Civil Judge Examination scheduled for September 21, 2025, because of flood-like situation and adverse weather conditions that have brought normal life to a standstill while the aspirants of Plus 2 Lecturer posts have also demanded deferment of written exam by three months.
ABVP has highlighted the key challenges faced by students, including disrupted connectivity, severe power outages, network and communication issues, loss of study material, displacement of families, psychological stress, and unequal opportunity.
“These challenges have made it extremely difficult for students to prepare for the examination,” said Sanak Shrivats, State Secretary, ABVP, while urging the authorities to postpone the JKPSC Civil Judge Examination scheduled for September 21, 2025.
Meanwhile the Jammu division based aspirants of 10 plus 2 Lecturer Posts have also demanded deferment of the scheduled written exam for the post by three months because of natural calamities in the region.
“The situation in Jammu Division has not improved; in fact, many of our homes remain completely submerged, and we are still dealing with displacement, loss of study materials, and disrupted access to essential services like electricity and internet. This ongoing crisis continues to hinder our preparation, exacerbating the disparity with aspirants from the Kashmir Division who have not faced similar disruptions,” they said, adding that postponing the examination by three months would provide them the necessary time to recover and prepare on a level playing field.
