JAMMU, Sept 2: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir today ordered the promotion of Arshid Qadir Bhat, a member of the J&K Labour (Gazetted) Service, to the Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service).
As per a Government order, Bhat’s promotion has been given effect from January 1, 2024, on a notional basis and on a regular basis prospectively from the date of issuance of the order.
The order states that Bhat will continue at his present place of posting until further orders.
“In terms of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service Rules 2008, as amended from time to time, sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment (by promotion) of Arshid Qadir Bhat, a member of J&K Labour (Gazetted) Service, to the Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level-11 with effect from January 1, 2024 on notional basis and on regular basis, prospectively i.e. date of issuance of Government order,” read an order issued by Dr Piyush Singla, Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department.
