Enquiry committee examining matter of suspension: GM Super Bazar

JAMMU, Aug 30: General Manager of Jammu Cooperative Wholesale Ltd Super Bazar has stated that an enquiry committee has already been constituted to examine the matter relating to the suspension of two officials Amit Verma and Sanjay Kumar.
“Both the officials remained under suspension for a period exceeding 10 months, which itself was contrary to the settled mandate that suspension cannot extend beyond 6 months as per SRO 233”, the GM said, adding “the proceedings by an enquiry committee are presently under progress”.
Regarding the appointment of Vinakshi Sharma, the GM said that she was initially engaged in 2013 on a consolidated remuneration of Rs 5000 per month with the approval of the then Board of Administrators. Her services were subsequently regularized in the year 2021 in accordance with SRO 233. “She was not appointed under SRO-43”, the GM added.
