KISHTWAR, Aug 29: Advocate Sheikh Nasir, additional general secretary of PDP, has strongly criticized the administration and NHPC, accusing them of step-motherly treatment towards Kishtwar.
Sheikh Nasir said that for the last four days, Kishtwar has been plunged into darkness as the administration has completely failed to restore electricity. Shockingly, even restoration work has been suspended due to lack of lighting at the work site.
He said NHPC, which earns crores from Kishtwar’s resources, has not been able to provide even a generator at the site. This negligence has paralyzed daily life, and people’s patience is running out.
Nasir further alleged that the representatives of Kishtwar are only engaged in photo sessions and making false promises to the people.
