JAMMU, Aug 25: A young social worker Akshay Kumar joined BSP along with his supporters during a public meeting in Khour area of Chhamb Assembly constituency today.
He was warmly welcomed by the party’s Central Coordinator Dharamvir Singh Ashok and J&K unit party president Darshan Rana along with other party leaders.
Earlier, on reaching there, party Coordinator and other party leaders were warmly welcomed by the local people. Welcoming the people who joined the party on this occasion, DS Ashok said that more and more people joining Bahujan Samaj Party indicates that the party is continuously getting stronger in Jammu and Kashmir and the people are very happy with the policies of BSP.
He said that BSP has been organizing review meetings at the Assembly level in Jammu and Kashmir for the past some time and during these meetings people are continuously participating in these meetings. He claimed that the people here are looking at Bahujan Samaj Party as an alternative because all the political parties that have been in power in Jammu and Kashmir till date have only and only misled the people.
He said that this campaign will be continued in the coming days and more and more people will be associated with the party.
Party vice president Charanjit Chargotra, Gani Aftab, Darshan Thapa and district chief Tarsem Lal along with other people of the party were also present.
