Srinagar, Aug 24: Security forces today recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from a forest area in the Madhama area of Kupwara district.
An official said that acting on specific inputs, a joint team of security forces launched a search operation in the Madhama area Kupwara.

They said that during the search operation a cache of arms and ammunition was recovered. They include one grenade, 10 AK rounds, one telescope and six detonators.
A case has been registered under relevant Sections at the Police Station and further investigation is underway.
