4 injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Aug 24: Four persons sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Jammu District today.
A police official said one Sher Ali (35) son of Mohammad Bashir of Damal, Jhajjar Kotli, sustained injuries near Radha Soami Satsang Bhawan Bishnah after the auto rickshaw he was travelling in rolled down the road.
One Rakesh Kumar (40) son of Jagar Ram of Ward number 13, Mazdoor Basti, Resham Ghar Colony, Jammu suffered injuries near TCP Miran Sahib when his biked collided with a road divider, he said.
At Gujjar Nagar area, the police official said, one Sher Mohammad (40) son of Alla Ditta of Sunjwan Chatta (Tehsil Bahu) sustained injuries in the collision of an auto and a bike.
At Marh area, one Raghubir Chand (55) son of Bodh Raj of Ladari (Marh) got injured when his bike slipped off the road, he said.
All the injured were separately taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where they are undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, cases under the relevant sections of the law stand registered at concerned police stations with further investigations taken up.
