JAMMU, Aug 22: Badri Nath Bhat a social activist, a community leader with philanthropist qualities breathed his last following a brief illness at Chandigarh today. He was the uncle of Anil Bhat, Jammu Bureau Chief of PTI.
Hailing from Ashmuji village in Kulgam district, Bhat worked tirelessly for the upliftment of downtrodden sections of society and the development of the people of Paloura. He retired as a Junior Engineer in the Irrigation and Flood Control Department.
Community leaders paid homage to him and expressed their condolences to the bereaved family.
