Srinagar, Aug 17: Patron of the Rashtriya Muslim Manch of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Dr. Indresh Kumar, today said that the Sangh is an organization that unites people rather than dividing them.
Speaking to reporters in Pahalgam after leading a Tiranga rally, Kumar said the RSS is devoted to national service, patriotism, progress, education and discipline.
“The RSS is not a hate-driven organization; rather, it is one that unites people and works for progress,” he said.

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent mention of the RSS in his Red Fort address on the occasion of Independence Day, Kumar said the Prime Minister had spoken the truth, which has now become part of history.
“He has stated that the RSS is a spotless organization devoted to national service, patriotism, progress, education, and discipline. Therefore, the truth spoken by him has now become history,” Kumar said.
He accused the Congress of dividing Hindus and Muslims into two separate nations and, under British influence, agreeing to the partition of the country.
“Since they dislike the RSS, they do not want India or the world to know the truth that exposes the dark character of Congress and its leaders and reveals the reality before the people,” he added.
Accompanied by J&K Waqf Board Chairperson Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Kumar also visited Ziyarat Baba Zainuddin Rishi (RA) at Aishmuqam, where they paid obeisance and prayed for the welfare of humanity.
Prof. Shahid Akhter, officiating Chairman of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions and National Convenor of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, also joined the visit.
Later, speaking to reporters there, Kumar expressed satisfaction with the development work at the Sufi shrine.
“These shrines are places of harmony and love. We are happy to see the development at these spiritual centers under the leadership of Dr. Darakhshan,” he said.
Calling J&K “the crown of India,” Kumar added, “India is the crown of the world. Sare Jahan Se Acha Hindustan Hamara is a reality, as this country belongs to all faiths equally without discrimination,” he said.
“Brotherhood, harmony, and peace are what we all seek at such revered places. We are working hard to re-establish an era of permanent peace, prosperity, and brotherhood here.”
Dr. Andrabi thanked Kumar for visiting the shrine and said his contributions to the welfare of Muslim communities in the country were significant.
