JAMMU, Aug 14: Two Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) ranked IPS officers of Jammu and Kashmir, Rashmi Wazir and Sheikh Junaid Mehmood, have been awarded the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) on the Independence Day.
While Rashmi Wazir, the 2011 batch IPS officer, is currently posted as DIG Security, J&K, the 2009 batch IPS officer Sheikh Junaid Mahmood is posted as DIG IR Kashmir.
