New Delhi, Aug 12: Nitishwar Kumar, a 1996-batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has been granted an extension in the upgradation of his post to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
Kumar, who is currently serving as Joint Secretary and Financial Advisor in the ministry, has earlier served as Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha. The extension will remain in effect till September 2026.
