JAMMU, Aug 11: National Conference (NC) is mainly responsible for terrorism and separatism in J&K and the whole J&K is paying a very heavy and unbearable price for the same.
This was stated by Arun Gupta, J&K BJP spokesperson while addressing a press conference here, today along with Dr. Pardeep Mangotra, BJP media in charge. Arun Gupta said generation after generation in J&K have been deprived of joining mainstream of country and today when whole India is progressing leaps and bounds, J&K has started the path of progress with the active involvement of Government of India, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Gupta said before 1947, when J&K was a princely state, NC then also had agenda of promoting separatism and after 1947, when J&K was part of united India post-Independence, NC continued its agenda for all the years. The separatism and terrorism were brewing up which resulted into full-fledged terrorism in 1989, with the active support of then NC Government in power, which saw huge migration from Kashmir.
This gives a clear indication that it was a designed game plan of NC. The police administration, law and order were all vested with J&K Government and in spite of all resources available NC did not stop this migration from Kashmir, he added.
