Executive meeting of Khatri, Arora Consortium held

JAMMU, Aug 10: An executive body meeting of the Khatri and Arora Consortium was held today under the chairmanship of its president, Advocate V K Grover, wherein several decisions were taken.
Prominent members who attended the meeting included vice-presidents Vandana Maini and Adarsh Pandoh, general secretary Rajesh Pandoh, joint secretary P K Talwar, Harish Kapoor, Ashwani Puri, Lokesh Verma, Vipan Bhatia, Varinder Nargotra, Shiv Abrol, Nitesh Abrol, Sunil Abrol, B M Gandotra, Rajneesh Kapoor, and Pawan Ahluwalia.
The important decisions taken during the meeting included celebrating the upcoming Independence Day on August 15 by hoisting the National Flag. It was also decided unanimously to recast the governing body of the consortium, under intimation to all the members of the association.
Other important decisions taken unanimously were to celebrate the Foundation Day of the Consortium along with Diwali, with all pomp and show, inviting all members of the organization to participate in the occasions.
The members also decided to organize medical camps, specifically focused on cardiac diseases, to benefit the suffering humanity. Furthermore, it was decided unanimously to make arrangements for providing free meals to the weaker sections of society in SOS Homes, orphanages, and cancer-related organizations, for the benefit of the destitute.
