‘Declare Pak global ambassador of terrorism’

SRINAGAR, Aug 8: A BJP youth delegation headed by its president, Arun Prabhat met with a high-profile German delegation here, today to discuss the security and political scenario of the Union Territory in the aftermath of the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack and Operation Sindoor launched by India to demolish terrorist camps across border.
The BJP team informed the German delegation that India launched Operation Sindoor to target terrorist training camps across border as the terrorists from Pakistan were involved in Pahalgam carnage on April 22 killing 25 Indians and one Nepali national.
The German delegation was led by Jurgen Hardt, Member of the German Parliament since 2009 and senior leader of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), and Franz Xaver Mauerer, Senior Foreign Policy Adviser at the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group in the Bundestag and an expert on European and human rights affairs with prior diplomatic experience at the German Federal Foreign Office.
They were accompanied by Ashish Gupta, Head of Operations, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Foundation India, New Delhi, and Anjali Rawat from the same organisation.
Arun Prabhat was accompanied by district president BJP Srinagar, Sheikh Salman, district president, Rajouri, Harish Bharti, policy consultant, Utkarsh Dewan and social media, in charge, Sagar Singh Kotwal.
During the meeting, Arun Prabhat urged the delegation to recognise Pakistan as the “global ambassador of terrorism” given its continued sponsorship of cross-border militancy. He also highlighted the extensive developmental work in Jammu & Kashmir under the Modi-led Central Government since the abrogation of Article 370, which has opened new avenues for progress, stability, and youth empowerment.
He further encouraged the German delegation-comprising members from Germany’s ruling side-to facilitate greater investment in Jammu & Kashmir, aimed at creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs and reducing unemployment.
The interaction underscored BJP youth’s commitment in engaging with international stakeholders to present the real picture of J&K and attract global partnerships for the region’s growth.
