MENDHAR, Aug 8: One person was killed while three others were injured after there was a collision between two vehicles near Bhata Dhurian, in Nar forest area of Mendhar Sub Division of Poonch district on Friday afternoon.
According to officials at around 3:10 pm on Friday Ertiga cab No. JK12D/2625 and Baleno car bearing registration number, JK02BA/9339 collided near Bhata Dhurian in Nar forest area. Both the vehicles were moving in the opposite directions.
In this incident four people were injured and shifted to Army hospital Bhimbet Gali (BG). One of the injured namely Amrit Kumar Raina, son of Jagat Ram, resident of Sunderbani in Rajouri succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The other three injured were referred to GMC Rajouri for further treatment. The injured have been identified as Neelam Kumari, wife of Amrit Raina, Ansh Sharma, son of Jeet Kumar and Ajay Kumar, all residents of Sunderbani. They were returning from Budha Amarnath Ji yatra. The police has taken cognizance of the incident.
