JAMMU, Aug 7: BJP spokesperson, Dr. Tahir Chowdhary has launched a sharp attack on the National Conference (NC)-led Government in Jammu and Kashmir, accusing it of failing to deliver on its electoral promises and resorting to a political blame game to cover its inefficiency.
Reacting to Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Chowdhary’s recent statement in which he blamed Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha for alleged interference in governance, Dr. Tahir Chowdhary said the remarks reflect the internal breakdown of administrative functioning within the Omar Abdullah-led Government.
“The Deputy Chief Minister’s public outburst against the LG is not just irresponsible-it reveals the confusion, lack of direction, and infighting within the ruling alliance,” Dr. Chowdhary said.
He added that rather than taking accountability for their failures, the NC-led Government is now attempting to shift the burden onto constitutional authorities.
