JAMMU, Aug 7: The much-awaited short film poster “Kaj-Fahmi”, a compelling production by Savrang Kala Sangam, was officially released today at the BJP headquarters, here. The film was unveiled by BJP general secretary J&K and former Deputy Mayor, Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria in presence Tarun Sharma, president of Nat Manch and a renowned social, sports and political activist.
Megha Ajnabi produced the film, with Umesh Singh serving as Assistant Director. The visual appeal was enhanced by Agastya Ajnabi, who managed lights and effects, while Maahi Sharma handled costumes and props. The overall design was crafted by Kapoor Productions.
The short film features a talented star cast including Umesh Singh, Meenu Sharma, and Rajesh Ajnabi, who also penned the script. The project was directed by Rajinder Samyal, with cinematography (D.O.P) also handled by him. The film’s post-production was managed by Goonj Digital TV, and the editing brought precision and pace to the narrative.
Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria lauded the team for their creative efforts and for shedding light on important social themes through cinema. Releasing posters of the short film, Billawaria appealed to the public to watch and share the “Kaj-Fahmi” short film on social platforms.
“It is encouraging to see local talent like Savrang Kala Sangam bringing stories that resonate deeply with our people” he said. The BJP general secretary also emphasized the importance of supporting regional art and cinema to foster cultural pride and awareness.
Billawaria said that “Entire team deserves all the kudos for great work and I wish them all the best for a bright future”. He said that we as a societal family must make an effort to support and nurture young talent which will bring laurels to the whole of Jammu & Kashmir. He said that new opportunities are being opened up everywhere today for the innovative minds. He expressed his hope that the people of Jammu will appreciate the short film and shower their love on it.
