JAMMU, Aug 5: All J&K +2 Lecturers Forum today held a UT level virtual meet, which was presided over by R S Salathia, Chairman and Mohd Younus Gurezi, Forum President for Kashmir Division.
The meet in one voice expressed serious concern over the undue delay in the regularisation of Incharge lecturers and the provision of ACP in favour of officers of +2 cadre.
RS Salathia, Younus Gurezi, Jyoti Prakash and Ghar Singh (General Secretary) lashed out at the Department of SED for its alleged non-serious approach vis-a-vis regularisation of incharge lecturers which, they said, was overdue.
The top leadership informed in the meeting that despite calling on Minister for School Education, Sakina Itoo and Secretary SED, Ram Niwas Sharma on the most important issue of regularisation, nothing has been done so far. The incharge lecturers who were supposed to be regularised within six months of their elevation continue to be harassed mentally and financially as well.

On ACP and ATD, the leadership urged the Govt to consider these two genuine demands of the Forum. The senior leaders of the forum viz Jyoti Prakash (Principal), Pardeep Singh Rakwal, Pardeep Koul, Jagjit Singh, Surinder Madhyal, Ramesh Kumar Padroo, Bal Krishan Tickoo, Gh Nabi Malik, Showkat Zarger, Shafiq Ahmed , Rajnish Raina and Shabir Ahmed advocated release of ATD list of Jammu division and urged for repatriation of pending Principals and lecturers to their home districts as they had already served for more than 3 years in far flung districts.
The meeting, in one voice, urged the Minister of School Education and Secretary SED to address the pending issue of regularisation of incharge lecturers in all disciplines without any further delay.
