SRINAGAR, Aug 5: J&K Bank today opened a Centralised Processing Centre (CPC) for mid-size and large corporates at its Zonal Office in Delhi to improve credit processing and customer service.
A statement said the centre was inaugurated by MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee in the presence of Divisional Head (Rest of India) Khursheed Muzaffar, DGM (CPC) Dorjey Angchuk, and other senior officers.
It said the CPC will handle credit proposals above Rs 10 crore, aiming to speed up processing, improve decision-making, and enhance services for corporate clients.
Speaking on the occasion, the MD & CEO said the CPC will help the Bank deliver faster, transparent, and consistent services.
He called the initiative a major step toward strengthening corporate relationships.
Later, the MD & CEO chaired a corporate customer meet at the same venue, which saw participation from several key clients.
He stressed the importance of customer feedback and said the Bank values long-term partnerships with clients.
Divisional Head Khursheed Muzaffar said the CPC is part of a larger plan to build a strong and future-ready corporate banking system.
Clients appreciated the Bank’s approach and shared suggestions for further improvement. The Bank assured that their feedback would be taken seriously to enhance its services.
