RAJOURI, July 31: Five medical shops have been sealed by the joint team of Drug Control Organisation and local administration in Sunderbani area of Rajouri district.
Reports said a joint team including Drug Control Officer, District Rajouri Vipan Kachroo in coordination with the Additional Deputy Commissioner, ADC Sunderbani Ramkesh Sharma and Naib Tehsildar Sunderbani Toab Khan laubnched special inspection in Sunderbani area. During the course of the drive, 12 medical shops/pharmacies were inspected. Out of these, operation of five establishments/Pharmacies was disallowed and they were sealed on the spot for gross violations which includes non-maintenance of sale/ records, non-dispensation of prescription records of habit forming formulations and non-implementation of mandatory computerised billing system.
The which were sealed included— Vipan Medicos, Sanjeevani Medical Hall, Suresh Medical Hall,
Shiva Medical Hall and Apollo Pharmacy.
