JAMMU, July 27: The annual Mela by Mata Chintpurni Darbar Welfare Society will be from August 1 to 3, 2025.
In a press conference here today, organizers of the Mela informed that Hawan will be organized at 10 am and Prashad will be distributed during Bhandara at 11.30 am on August 3, 2025.
They have invited the devotees to visit the temple along with all the family members and pay obeisance to the Goddess.
A handout stated that the temple of Mata Chintpurni was built by Maharaja Gulab Singh some 180 years back and presently it is managed by Dharamarth Trust of J&K.
Mata Chintpurni Darbar Welfare Society in collaboration with Dharamarth Trust of J&K is organizing the annual Bhandara during the Shravan month for the last some years and this was started by Jairamdass Aggarwal, Pandit Dwarkanath Sharma, Varinder Khajuria and Chowdhary Tejram.
Those who were present in the press conference were Chowdhary Tejram, president; Narinder Gupta, vice president; Anoop Mittal, general secretary; Sachin Gupta, secretary along with members Sanjay Mahe, Vishal Gupta, Naresh Aggarwal, Raman Gupta, Harsh Sharma and others.
