JAMMU, July 25: Newly elected president of Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS), Sanjeev Singh Rinku toay vowed to fight for the welfare of Dogras and Rajput community.
Marking the beginning of his tenure, Sanjeev paid tribute at the statue of Maharaja Hari Singh, seeking blessings for the journey ahead. The occasion witnessed a massive gathering, including YRS core committee members, former presidents, the state body, and thousands from the Rajput and Dogra communities. The event stood as a powerful display of unity and hope for the future.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjeev Singh Rinku assured the Dogra and Rajput communities that his leadership would focus solely on the welfare and bright future of both the community and the region of Jammu. He further announced plans to actively push for key demands such as the formation of a Rajput Welfare Board, establishment of a Rajput Hostel, political reservation and equal rights for the Dogras.
Emphasizing unity, he said that efforts are underway to resolve the internal differences within the Sabha, and expressed confidence that senior member Mandeep Singh will soon rejoin the fold for the betterment of the organization.
Chairman of YRS, Raghuvir Singh, described Sanjeev Singh Rinku as a selfless worker who always stood for the Sabha’s cause without personal gain. “Today, the Rajput community has reposed its faith in him, and he has been entrusted with crucial responsibilities towards the Dogra community as well,” he added.
Former president Surinder Singh Gilli, who was present at the event, stated clearly that any differences within the Sabha will be resolved internally. He affirmed that by 23rd September, YRS will once again emerge as a united force advocating for the rights and interests of the Rajput and Dogra communities.
