RAJOURI, July 24: In a concerning development, three private schools in Rajouri were found open on Wednesday despite clear instructions from the district administration to suspend all educational activities in view of continuous heavy rains and deteriorating weather conditions.
The Chief Education Officer Rajouri, Iqbal Hussain, has taken serious note of this violation and issued show cause notices to the Principals of the concerned institutions, namely Dawn Public Higher Secondary School, New Age Public School, and Bright Public School.
The CEO warned that failure to respond satisfactorily within the stipulated timeframe would result in strict legal and administrative action.
The Education Department has once again reminded all private institutions that student safety must never be compromised and that government orders must be followed in letter and spirit. Any future violations will be dealt with firmly, without exception.
