Chander Udhay elected president RWA Gandhi Nagar

JAMMU, July 23: Chander Udhay Sharma was today elected as the president of the Resident Welfare Association (RWA), Gandhi Nagar. The post of the president was vacant after the demise of Lal Man Khajuria.
The decision in this regard was taken during the meeting of RWA general body.
Earlier, Chander Udhay was appointed as the working president.
Among others, Arun Goswami was re-elected as secretary general, K B Jandial as the chief patron, Indu Bhushan Sharma was elected as senior vice president and M L Vaid as vice president, Rajesh Khajuria as additional secretary general, V K Phoa as organising secretary, Surinder Kohli as treasurer and Bhushan Verma as secretary (Media & Publicity).
It was also decided to create a What’s App for its members to receive complaints of different areas of the colony on mobile.
The meeting decided to hold monthly meetings on a fixed day for interaction.
Earlier, the members mourned the demise of Lal Man Khajuria and recalled his services.
Two-minute silence was also observed in his memory.
