JAMMU, July 22: Jammu Branch of Indian Medical Association (IMA) has been constituted by IMA headquarters, New Delhi.
In a communiqué received from IMA headquarters, the new members are Dr. D.K Manyal, patron; Dr. T.R Raina, chief advisor; Dr. R. Madaan and Dr. R.P Kudyar, advisors; Dr. Pavan Malhotra, president; Dr. Sanjeev Narang, honorary secretary; Dr. Arun Arora, vice president; Dr. Neerupama Dogra, joint secretary and Dr. Sandeep Dogra, treasurer.
Dr. B.B Gupta, Dr. Gurjeet Singh, Dr. Vijay Kundal, Dr. Ravinder Gupta, Dr. Ratnakar Sharma and Dr. Rakesh Kakkar were made executive council members.
Executive Committee Members of IMA- Jammu Branch conducted its first meeting here today and the meeting was initiated by Dr. Sanjeev Narang.
Dr. Pavan Malhotra informed the house that Jammu Branch has applied to Academy of Medical Specialties (AMS-IMA) with headquarter in Hyderabad to include Jammu Branch for starting various fellowship programs under their academic curriculum.
Dr. Arun Arora and Dr D.K Manyal also spoke on the occasion.
