JAMMU, July 20: Trikuta Nagar Development Council (TNDC) here today donated blankets, clothes, jewellery and other essential items to support the marriage of a needy girl.
All these items were handed over to the parents of the girl during a brief function organized by the Council. This initiative is part of Council’s ongoing efforts to assist underprivileged families during important life events.
Rekha Mahajan, BJP J&K vice president was also present on the occasion and she appealed other social and religious organizations as well as individuals to come forward and extend a helping hand to economically weaker families in the time of need especially during events like marriages which often carry a financial burden.
Shubchander Verma, Council president assured to continue the support to needy families through various social outreach programs ensuring that no deserving individual is left behind in the time of need.
Among those present on the occasion were K.S Samyal, T.C Taggar, Narinder Gupta, Krishan Lal Gupta, Ramesh Gupta and Surjit Choudhary.
