JAMMU, July 14: The voice of Aazaad Parindey Kala Manch (APKM) echoed once again at the Dogri Rangutsav Festival, which was concluded here at Abhinav Theatre.
The play “Galat Vyakaran”, written by Kumar A Bharti and directed by Mohit Singh Chib, captivated the audience with its depth, finesse and emotional intensity, winning an impressive seven awards in a single stroke!
The festival was organised under the leadership of Samooh Theatre, with the support of the senior citizens support service club (Chowadi).
The event turned into a cultural celebration of Dogri language and for Aazaad Parindey Kala Manch, it became a moment of glory.
The highlights of awards are second best director, Mohit Singh Chib, second best actor, Janak Khajuria, best light design, Sandeep Verma, best set design, Mohit Singh Chib and Saksham, while merit certificates, Ankit, Sheetal and Saksham.
“Galat Vyakaran” was the most awarded production at the festival, a rare feat showcasing the group’s collective brilliance.
Speaking on the occasion, director Mohit Singh Chib said, “This marks a beautiful comeback in my theatre journey. The overwhelming love and appreciation we received is unforgettable. On behalf of my entire team, I express heartfelt gratitude to everyone who believed in us. These awards are not just honours, they are proof of our passion and persistence.”
