DF&SS demands more registration counters for Amarnath pilgrims

JAMMU, July 10: The workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena (DF&SS) here today under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta organised a protest rally demanding increase in number of counters for the registration of Amarnath pilgrims.
Addressing the protesters Gupta said that number of registration counters for Amarnath Yatra should be increased as big queues are seen outside the registration counters which is causing inconvenience to the visiting pilgrims who have a lot of enthusiasm about the Yatra.
He said that the infrastructural advancements facilitating Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra are brilliant and urged the Government to introduce a more convenient token distribution system for current registration to alleviate the hardships faced by the pilgrims standing in long queues.
Gupta that the visiting pilgrims should be motivated to visit Patnitop, Katra, Reasi, Raghunath temple and other places in Jammu also.
Raju, Bantu, Ganesh, Kalu, Prem, Naresh, Abhishek and others were also present on this occasion.
