Congress extends support to agitating PDD daily wagers

JAMMU, July 10: The Congress party has sought early resolution for the issues of agitating PDD daily wagers.
In a meeting here today, JKPCC president, Tariq Hameed Karra expressed solidarity with the agitating workers and asked the authorities to look into their genuine demands and issues at the earliest.
“The Government should come forward to talk to the protesting daily wagers and resolve their issues in a time bound manner,” he maintained.
The meeting was also attended by JKPCC working president, Raman Bhalla; former MP, Ch. Lal Singh; former Ministers-Mula Ram and Yogesh Sawhney; former MLA, Balwan Singh; JKPCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma; Ved Mahajan; ex-chairman JKLC, Jahangir Mir; former Ministers-Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma and Yashpal Kundal; Th Balbir Singh, Ex-MLA; Naresh Gupta, Ex MLC; Dina Nath Bhagat, Ex-MLA; Sham Lal Bhagat, Ex MLC and others and they all extended support to the agitating PDD daily wagers.
