JAMMU, July 9: The temporary office of Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, Jammu & Kashmir, was ceremoniously inaugurated in Jammu by Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma, here today.
This office will serve as the central coordination hub for the upcoming Provincial Arya Mahasammelan – Jammu & Kashmir, scheduled to be held on 19-20 July 2025 at Baba Jitto Auditorium, Sher-e-Kashmir University, Chattha, Jammu. The Mahasammelan holds special significance as it commemorates the 200th birth anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Ji and the 150th founding year of Arya Samaj.
The inaugural event witnessed the gracious presence of numerous Arya Samaj dignitaries, youth volunteers, scholars, and local community members who gathered to mark the beginning of this important organizational milestone. Notable among them were President Arya Pratinidhi Sabha Jammu and Kashmir, Narender Trehan, General Secretary Rajeev Sethi, Treasurer Yogesh Gupta, President of Veda Prachar Mandal Master Chunni Lal Arya, Patron Bharat Bhushan Arya, Senior Vice President Arun Kumar Gupta, Vice President Kuldeep Gupta, President of IDA Kanya Gurukul Ghari Udhampur Arun Choudhary, Vice President Rajouri Aatam Prakash Gupta, President of Dindey Kalan Arya Samaj Hans Raj and President of Kathua Arya Samaj Bishan Bharti.
Addressing the gathering, MP Jugal Kishore praised the timeless and transformative ideals of Arya Samaj. He spoke of its invaluable contributions to nation-building, societal reform, and the moral rejuvenation of the country. He encouraged all stakeholders to continue their tireless efforts toward the cause of Vedic values and national progress.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Narendra Trehan, President of Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, Jammu & Kashmir.
