JAMMU, June 29: Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust (PNBMT) here today organised a meeting and reviewed the progress on data updation of individual temples in Kashmir.
The meeting was presided over by Kuldeep Raina, president Samaj Sudhar Trust and Sundri Lal Koul, Trust secretary conducted the proceedings.
Speaking in the meeting Virender Raina, PNBMT chief spokesman said that government’s recent initiative to take up repair and restoration of selected temples in Kashmir was a good move in right direction.
He underlined the need for the passage of the long-pending Temples and Shrines Bill and informed that a delegation of the Trust recently met the CM and presented Trust’s concerns and expectations in this regard.
Dr. Ramesh Bhat, key member of the Trust, Senior Trust member M.M Thaploo and A.K Raina, president Amar Balidan Trust also spoke on the occasion.
Chairing the meeting, Kuldeep Raina appealed for unity and dedication in mission.
Those who were present in the meeting were Naveen Handoo, Ramesh Marhatta, Bimal Wantoo, Naveen Koul, Bushan Lal Bhat and Avtar Krishan.
