Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said tonight that he was looking forward to some forward movement in the Kashmiri migrant return package that has been pending with the Centre for few years.
Describing his meeting with the Union Ministers for Foods and Roads (Paswan and Gadkari) as “very productive’’, Omar on his return to Srinagar from New Delhi tweeted: “looking forward to budget 2014. Hope there is something specific for the State’s infrastructure and connectivity’’. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley would present maiden budget of new NDA Government in the Lok Sabha tomorrow.
He said he was also looking forward to migrants’ return package from the Centre.
“Glad to be back in Srinagar after very productive meeting with the Union Ministers for Food and Roads,’’ he wrote.
